Similarly to the patriotic Bulgarians from Svishtov, who set up the first cultural club in Bulgaria, the teacher Petar Djeremevski first takes the initiative and organizes progressive and active people whose main idea is to set up a cultural club in Morava on 23.12.1911. They call it “Svetlina” (Llight) to light up people’s souls. The club starts its work first in the school’s classrooms.

The leaders start gathering resources and in 1934 the community center is ready. Then in 1969 a new building was open with a big auditorium and other halls for rehearsals. The club turns into a centre of the cultural life in the village. It gives shelter to some generations creators and connoisseurs of the artistic culture.

A lot of amateur artists – singers, dancers, instrumentalists, actors, reciters and etc. perform their talents there.

The amateurs are working people, but on the stage they forget their everyday cares and carry in spirit of other world.

The library is visited by children and adults. Regularly, new books are being bought to fill up the library.
